Mechanical Fitter (Argyle & Bute) Excellent hourly rate VALID SC CLEARANCE ESSENTIAL A1 Jobs are recruiting for x 2 Mechanical Fitters to join our client on a 3-month project Roles and responsibilities Day to day investigation and diagnosing faults, repairing and maintaining mechanical aspects of facilities. Carry out planned and reactive maintenance and fitting on a variety of mechanical systems. Defect identification and repair. Typical systems worked on will include, heating, ventilation, generators, and compressors as well as pressure systems and other mechanical equipment and plant Essential requirements Proven experience in mechanical fitting or maintenance gained within an industrial or commercial environment. Ability to read and understand engineering drawings Works in a safe manner - able to understand statements of work, risk assessments, etc Comfortable working at height and in confined spaces on occasion Qualifications Recognised mechanical apprenticeship Qualified to SVQ Level 3 or equivalent (NVQ3, City and Guilds, HNC etc)
