Community Engagement and Fundraising Lead

We are looking for a passionate, relationship-driven, community-focused fundraising professional to join CHS as our Community Engagement & Fundraising Lead . This is a role ideal for someone who thrives on supporting community connection, is a passionate fundraiser who has experience in engaging with donors at all levels. Reporting directly to the Executive Director and working closely with our Marketing Coordinator and volunteer marketing committee, you’ll be responsible for working with community members, donors, growing and retaining CHS’s donor base, leading fundraising campaigns, and strengthening our presence in the community. This is a strategic and execution-focused role. You’ll play a key role in developing and carrying out community engagement activities, creating CHS’s fundraising strategy and building the foundations for fundraising success. You will also be responsible for executing the strategy, engaging with donors, and encouraging ongoing community involvement to ensure the sustainability of our programs. Community Engagement Represent CHS at community events and facilitate initiatives that strengthen community resilience inclusion and participation. Identify and pursue new outreach and donor engagement partnerships, and community led-engagement opportunities that grow donor and volunteer networks. Major Donor Support Support the Executive Director and the Board in managing major donor relationships while cultivating community leadership and collective philanthropy. Donor Growth & Retention Design and implement strategies to grow the number of individual and recurring donors while broadening community participation and collective ownership of CHS’s mission. Strengthen donor and community relationships to build sustainable, long-term support networks. Fundraising strategy Work with the Executive Director and the Board to build a fundraising strategy. Periodically lead a review of the strategy and make necessary adjustments. Campaign Management Lead the planning and execution of key fundraising campaigns, including a Giving Day and other appeals. Monitor and evaluate campaign performance, reporting on outcomes and learnings.
