Job Description
The role We are seeking an experienced Delivery Lead to oversee and orchestrate delivery across multiple workstreams within our Risk Remediation Program. In this pivotal role, you will coordinate cross-functional teams, manage offshore and onshore development resources, and ensure the timely delivery of high-quality solutions. This is an exciting opportunity to play a key role in risk remediation, business continuity, and technology delivery, navigating a complex matrix environment with multiple stakeholders and priorities. Key Responsibilities Delivery Oversight: Ensure projects are delivered on time, within scope, and to quality standards. Coordination & Facilitation: Work across multiple delivery leads, business stakeholders, and technical teams to prioritise and resolve issues. Stakeholder Management : Build strong relationships with business units, IT teams, and external partners to align delivery with program objectives. Team Leadership: Support delivery leads and offshore/onshore teams to drive execution while fostering collaboration and performance. Process & Continuous Improvement : Implement and enhance delivery processes, leveraging metrics and retrospectives to optimise outcomes. R isk & Issue Management: Identify and proactively mitigate risks, dependencies, and blockers affecting project delivery. Pragmatic Decision-Making: Help stakeholders balance business wants with realistic delivery capabilities, ensuring achievable outcomes. What experience you’ll bring Proven experience in financial services or insurance, ideally in risk remediation or business continuity programs. Strong experience in delivery management or agile program orchestration in complex, matrixed environments. Comfortable managing multiple stakeholders and navigating competing priorities. Experience working with onshore and offshore development teams. Excellent communication, facilitation, and influencing skills. Adaptable, resilient, and pragmatic — able to drive delivery even when not all stakeholders are aligned. Qualifications: Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field (IT, Business, or related). Agile certification (CSM, PMP, or equivalent) is desirable but not mandatory.
