Join to apply for the Madison Agricultural Admin Manager role at University of Wisconsin-Madison . Key Job Responsibilities Collects, analyzes, and prepares various communication materials from established sources utilizing technology mediums. Serves as a first point of contact for individuals and groups, provides basic organizational information via phone, in person and through other communication mediums, and routes more complex inquiries to the appropriate entities. Maintains established methods and organizational systems directed at the maintenance of electronic/physical records related to work operations according to established policies and procedures. Schedules logistics and secures resources for meetings, conferences, travel, and work unit operations. Assists with soliciting agricultural supplies & equipment bids by connecting with vendors and transferring information into final summary format. Assists ARS Financial Manager in training other ARS staff on financial processes/workday duties. Works closely with ARS Financial Manager to develop practical financial processes for all stations within established UW policies. Required Qualifications Proficiency with accounting software such as QuickBooks, Workday, or similar platforms. Experience using spreadsheet and word processing tools to maintain data, generate reports and other correspondence (e.g., Microsoft Excel and Word). Organizational skills, including document filing and record-keeping. Demonstrated customer service experience and communication skills. Familiarity with farming and agricultural terminology and operations. Preferred Qualifications Experience using WordPress (or equivalent CMS) for website content updates. Ability to manage and schedule social media posts to promote agricultural research activities. Experience working/training in an agricultural or research station setting. Education H.S.
