This is a high visibility team where you will get a chance to make a positive impact on customer experience. Key responsibilities Development of software for product initiatives. Investigate, prototype, and deliver new and innovative software applications. Deliver high quality software through working in a dynamic, team-focused Agile/Scrum environment. BASIC QUALIFICATIONS Experience in professional, non-internship software development Bachelor's degree in computer science or equivalent Knowledge of computer science fundamentals in object-oriented design Experience programming with at least one modern language such as Java, C++, or C# including object-oriented design Knowledge of professional software engineering & best practices for full software development life cycle, including coding standards, software architectures, code reviews, source control management, continuous deployments, testing, and operational excellence Fluency in English PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS Experience with full software development life cycle, including coding standards, code reviews, source control management, build processes, testing, and operations Experience leading the architecture and design (architecture, design patterns, reliability and scaling) of new and current systems Experience building complex software systems that have been successfully delivered to customers Ability to take a project from scoping requirements through actual launch of the project Amazon is an equal opportunities employer.
