POSITION OVERVIEW The Field Sales Consultant conducts in-person financial consultations with business owners at their locations—offices, homes, or meeting spaces. This is a relationship-driven, consultative sales position focused on understanding client needs and presenting tailored business credit and funding solutions. Our consultants serve as trusted financial advisors, not transactional salespeople. All client leads are pre-qualified and scheduled by our marketing team. You’ll focus entirely on conducting high-quality consultations and building lasting client relationships. KEY RESPONSIBILITIES • Conduct 5-7 in-person consultations daily with pre-scheduled, qualified prospects • Present business credit programs and funding solutions through consultative approach • Guide clients through application processes and enrollment procedures • Develop and maintain long-term client relationships with ongoing support • Utilize company-provided sales frameworks, materials, and presentation resources • Maintain accurate records in company CRM system • Collaborate with remote operations team for seamless client onboarding • Participate in weekly coaching sessions and professional development training • Represent opt United States professionally in all client interactions COMPENSATION STRUCTURE Base Salary: $20/hour ($3,200/month minimum guarantee) Performance Commission: $1,000 per closed client - Average performance: 10-15 clients/month after initial ramp period - Commission paid monthly Residual Income: 2% share of client lifetime value - Builds passive income stream over time - Continues as long as client relationship remains active - Top consultants earn $3,000-$10,000/month in residuals after 18-24 months Vehicle Benefits: Company Vehicle Program (details below) Additional Benefits: - Comprehensive product and sales training (fully paid) - Professional development opportunities - Clear advancement pathway to senior positions Earnings Progression (Typical Consultant): Months 1-2 (Training Period): $3,200/month base compensation Months 3-4 (Ramp Period): $6,000-$9,000/month Months 5-12 (Full Production): $12,000-$18,000/month Year 2: $18,000-$30,000/month (including growing residual income base) Top-performing consultants with established client portfolios earn $25,000-$40,000/month. SCHEDULE & WORK STRUCTURE This is a full-time professional position with schedule autonomy. Consultants typically work Monday through Friday, 9:00 AM to 6:00 PM, with occasional evening or weekend appointments based on client availability. You’ll manage your own calendar and territory strategically, with average workweeks of 40-45 hours. Performance is measured by results and activity metrics rather than time tracking—consultants function as professional territory managers with entrepreneurial responsibility for their regions.
