Continental Electrical Engineer

Location: Liverpool Street, London Shift Pattern: Continental Shifts (Nights focus) Contract Type: Permanent Salary: £48,000 - £50,000 Benefits About the Role Trevett Services are looking for an experienced Multi-Skilled Engineer (Electrical Bias) to join one of our leading engineering and services businesses, to work with a dedicated shift team on a commercial contract in London's financial district on Liverpool Street, situated minutes from Liverpool Street Station. This role is part of a continental shift pattern with a strong focus on night work. You’ll be working with state of the art building services systems in a high-profile environment, ensuring continuous operation and reliability across a prestigious site. Shift Pattern * Rota: 4 nights on / 4 days off, 2 days on / 1 day off, 3 nights on / 6 nights off, 1 day on, repeat cycle. (Great work-life balance!) * Nights: 7pm – 7am (predominantly nights) * Days (when scheduled): 7am – 7pm Key Responsibilities * Conduct fault-finding, maintenance, and repair of electrical and mechanical systems. * Deliver PPMs and reactive maintenance in accordance with statutory standards and SFG20 requirements. * Operate and maintain Building Management Systems (BMS), Lighting Control, HVAC, Generators, UPS, and HV/LV Distribution Systems. * Ensure full compliance with health, safety, and quality regulations. * Provide detailed recommendations for system upgrades and improvement works. * Collaborate closely with other engineers to maintain seamless service delivery for the client. Requirements * NVQ / City & Guilds Level 3 in Electrical or Mechanical discipline. * 18th Edition Wiring Regulations qualification. * Proven experience within commercial building services maintenance. * Strong understanding of electrical & mechanical plant, PPM schedules, and compliance standards. * HV/LV Authorised Person certification (desired). * Proactive and professional approach with strong problem-solving skills.
