Our client is seeking a Second in Science to join them from January 2026 on a permanent basis (Employed directly by the school) About the School/ Department * Graded ‘Good" in latest Ofsted report * Impressive Progress 8 results * Long Standing Headteacher and Senior Leadership Team * Modern & creative facilities throughout * Team of 10 Teachers including Head of Science and 2 Technicians * Good Public Transport Links - Train and Bus * Large Car Park onsite Key Responsibilities: * Assist the HOD science in evaluating curriculum, T&L and assessment in KS4 and KS5 * Assisting the HOD in the implementation of agreed KS4/KS5 assessment (organising testing arrangements, printing, communicating with KS4/KS5 teachers, recording data and utilising data to monitor pupil progress) * Assist in development and refinement of the KS4/KS5 curriculum including updating lesson resources * Organising after school revision sessions: After School session curriculum, arrangement of resources, communication with teachers * Plan and teach well-structure lessons which allow adequate time to embed new knowledge, understanding and skills and which are responsive to pupil misconceptions Key Experience & Knowledge: * QTS/QTLS * Strong academics across the board – Degree, A Levels and GCSEs * Must be meeting the 8 Teaching Standards to a ‘Good or Outstanding’ level * You must be able to work as part of a large team of Science Teachers If you are interested in this Second in Science teaching opportunity, interviews & lesson observations can be arranged immediately Apply for this Second in Science opportunity by sending your CV to Katie at Forever Education You will be contacted by your personal consultant (if shortlisted)
