Teaching Assistant

Teaching Assistant Early Years (Reception) 1:1 SEND/Autism Newham SANZA Teaching agency are currently seeking an experienced teaching assistant to work on a 1:1 basis with a small group of key children in early years (reception). The children all have a diagnosis of Autism. Key responsibilities: Working 1:1 with key children and in small groups Supporting children with their learning and development Providing feedback to the class teacher and SEN team on children's progress Helping with the supervision of children during break times Maintaining a safe and stimulating learning environment About you: Experience as a teaching assistant, preferably in the early years (EYFS) reception/nursery A solid understanding of the early years curriculum Experience supporting children with Autism and additional needs Excellent communication skills Must be mobile and active as younger children are likely to run around/be very active A genuine desire to support young children with special needs SANZA Teaching Agency: As a Sunday Times Top 100 employer, we're committed to putting candidates & staff first We employ the best in the business to provide an exceptional service to our candidates Partnership with The National College, offering you access to hundreds of free CPD courses!
