Job Description
Support the Marketing function at Georges River Council with content creation and community engagement in a part-time cadetship role. Your Role Key responsibilities include: Providing support to the Marketing function within the City Futures team Supporting content creation and management of internal and community branded messaging Gaining exposure to multi-faceted marketing requirements in local government About You What you'll need: Enrolled in a relevant undergraduate degree in Marketing, Communications, Media, Public Relations, or related field for the year of the cadetship Demonstrated knowledge of Canva and Adobe Creative Cloud Experience with social media scheduling software Effective and sensitive communication skills with staff and community Ability to work collaboratively with integrity, accountability, respect, and honesty Problem-solving skills with lateral and creative thinking Ability to set work priorities and meet deadlines Commitment to valuing diversity of thought and supporting equity in the workplace Desirable: Knowledge of the Georges River local area through living, studying, or working there.
