Graduate Infrastructure Engineer (Start ASAP)

Join Visy as a Graduate Infrastructure Engineer supporting critical IT infrastructure and network communications in a sustainability-focused environment. Your Role Here’s what you will be doing: Support and manage Microsoft Windows server environments, Active Directory, DNS, and virtualisation (VMware) Implement and maintain endpoint protection, backups, disaster recovery, and system monitoring Learn and support proprietary control systems (ABB, Siemens, Allen Bradley) and historian systems (OSIsoft PI) Design and manage secure IP networks, including VLANs, firewalls, and DMZ zones Collaborate with internal teams and external vendors to ensure system reliability and security Travel to industrial sites across the East Coast to provide on-site support About You What you'll need: Tertiary qualification in Information Technology Knowledge of server hardware, operating systems, IP networking, and network security Experience with endpoint security systems (e.g., McAfee VSE, ENS, ePO) Strong troubleshooting skills and escalation management Desirable: Experience on industrial sites Desirable: Hands-on IT systems experience (1 year) Desirable: Certifications (e.g., MCSA, MCSE, CCNA) Desirable: Exposure to patch management tools (WSUS, SCCM, Chef, Puppet) Desirable: Familiarity with enterprise backup and historian systems Be a fast learner with a hands-on approach Ability to work independently and under pressure Excellent communication and organisational skills Adaptable, service-oriented, and safety-conscious Willingness to travel and be on-call when needed Compensation & Benefits Contribute to sustainability initiatives that make a difference Be part of a team that values safety, respect, and collaboration Training & Development Opportunities for further training and career advancement within the company Career Progression Career growth opportunities within Visy How to Apply You will be required to meet Visy’s employment criteria, including a criminal history check and pre-employment medical (including drug & alcohol testing).
