Junior Data Analyst (Intern)

G-nous is looking for a Junior Data Analyst to join its Bari office as part of the activities carried out for its client, the European Space Agency (ESA). The intern will collaborate on data collection , analysis , and visualization , contributing to the development of analytical models and automated solutions that drive efficiency and data-informed decision-making. This internship offers the opportunity to gain hands-on experience in data analysis. Activities Analysis of business processes and related information systems Collection of user requirements Collection, organization, and cleaning of data from different sources Development of interactive dashboards and reports using Business Intelligence tools (e.g., Power BI) Design and preparation of data models to support analysis and reporting Support in the definition and monitoring of KPIs Automation of analyses and reporting using data science tools and scripts (e.g., Python, R, Power Automate) Support in testing and validation activities of implemented solutions Preparation of project documentation, operational manuals, and presentation materials Presentation of results to the client Requirements Undergraduate or recent graduate in STEM disciplines or Statistics Proficient in English (minimum B2 level, both written and spoken) Excellent knowledge of MS Office, especially Excel and PowerPoint Interest in data analysis, data visualization, and data science Strong teamwork skills, problem-solving attitude and analytical mindset Attention to detail, ability to multitask and results-oriented approach Legal residency in Italy Nice to have Good knowledge of SQL for data extraction and manipulation Familiarity with Python or R for data analysis and automation Understanding of data cleansing, pre processing and data modelling Familiarity with the Microsoft Power Platform suite (Power BI, Power Automate, Power Apps) Career Growth and Development On-the-job training Opportunity for professional growth in an innovative and international environment Contract type 6-month extracurricular full-time internship Possibility of subsequent employment with the company Location: Bari
