The main purpose of the Position is to ensure that the production of standard and special parts is scheduled according to received orders, considering deadlines and quantities, based on capacity availability. The Production Planner ensures that all data entered into the system is recorded correctly. WHAT YOU WILL EXPERIENCE IN THIS POSITION: Ensure a safe work environment by following and enforcing company procedures. Analyze production requirements and capacity, schedule orders, and update the ERP system. Communicate with procurement analysts to adjust plans for material shortages. Notify your supervisor of any capacity issues affecting production plans. Create and verify production and manufacturing orders in the ERP system. Prepare and track production plans, ensuring alignment with ERP data. Monitor plan execution, resolve issues, and support the operational team. Maintain accurate ERP parameters and report deviations for correction. Collaborate on annual inventory and prepare documentation with technical teams. Track KPIs for delivery performance and lead time. Analyze and report production plan performance regularly. Participate in daily meetings to monitor plan execution. Respond promptly to Back Office/Demand Planning requests. YOU HAVE: A degree in Management Engineering or Economics is advantageous but not required; Previous experience in roles related to Production Planning with ERP; Knowledge of Microsoft Office suite, with a focus on Excel and Access; Fluent English (at least B2) and Italian; Proactive behavior; Ability to communicate confidently, with clarity both downwards and upwards and with stakeholders in country and internationally; Process improvement oriented and data analysis and interpretation skills; Excellent interpersonal skills; Organizational, time-management, decision-making skills; Ability to adapt to a constantly evolving environment; WE HAVE: A dynamic global reach with diverse operations around the world that will stretch your abilities, provide plentiful career opportunities, and allow you to make an impact every day nVent is a leading global provider of electrical connection and protection solutions.
