Job Description
Stirling and Clackmannanshire Health and Social Care Partnership are looking to recruit a highly motivated Social Worker to a busy and supportive learning disability team in Stirling City Centre. We welcome applications from suitably qualified individuals who are looking for an opportunity to join our integrated Community Learning Disability Team and make a positive difference to the lives of the people in our area accessing services. This post covers both urban and rural Stirling areas. The post holder will undertake outcome focussed assessment, care management and review tasks alongside work under the Adults with Incapacity and Adult Support and Protection Acts while ensuring and supporting the delivery of services to those who need them. They should have excellent communication skills, a sound knowledge of relevant legislation and strong person centred assessment and practice skills In return we can offer you a positive professional working experience with a commitment to continuous professional development, training and support. The essential criteria for this post is a degree or diploma in Social work and registration with the SSSC. The successful candidate will be required to be a member of the Protecting Vulnerable Groups Scheme (PVG) for Adults and Children.
