Chartered Building Surveyor – Leeds | Permanent | Hybrid Working Are you ready to take the next step in your Building Surveying career? We’re working with a growing consultancy who are looking for a Chartered Building Surveyor to join their Leeds team. This is a senior role where you’ll lead on a variety of projects, mentor junior surveyors, and provide expert advice across construction and property portfolios. What you’ll be doing Carrying out detailed building surveys and technical reports Acting as a key client contact, offering clear and professional advice Delivering services such as Dilapidations, Party Wall matters, Planned Preventative Maintenance, and Fire Compartmentation surveys Managing construction projects and acting as Contract Administrator/Employer’s Agent Supporting planning and building regulation applications Advising on sustainability, compliance and health & safety matters Leading, supervising and developing Graduate/Building Surveyors Contributing to business development and recruitment initiatives What we’re looking for Significant experience as a Building Surveyor, ideally in a consultancy environment Strong technical knowledge of surveying, property legislation and building regulations Excellent client-facing communication skills Proven ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines Experience in mentoring and developing junior colleagues MRICS or FRICS status What’s on offer Competitive salary and benefits package Hybrid working and flexible arrangements Ongoing career and professional development A collaborative, supportive team environment Opportunity to work on diverse and high-profile projects If you’re a Chartered Building Surveyor ready to step into a senior role with real responsibility, growth opportunities, and variety – we’d love to hear from you.
