TravelNurseSource is working with Cynet Health to find a qualified Neuro ICU RN in Phoenix, Arizona, 85013! Pay Information $2,179 per week About The Position Job Title: Registered Nurse Profession: Nursing Specialty: Neuro ICU Duration: 13 weeks Shift: 12 hours days Hours per Shift: 12 Experience: 2 years of ICU experience required License: BSN Required Certifications: ACLS, BLS Must-Have: - Level 1 trauma experience - EVD experience - Strong neuro assessment skills - ICP monitoring experience Description: Seeking experienced registered nurses for a Neuro ICU unit. Candidates must have a minimum of 2 years of ICU experience in a large facility with Level 1 trauma experience. Experience with external ventricular drains (EVD) is required. All candidates must pass an evaluation prior to acceptance. Candidates should have a clean shave and natural hair color without facial piercings. Personal vehicles are required for travel team members. Travelers can be floated between ICU floors and tele units, with a nurse-to-patient ratio of 1:2 in critical care settings. Common diagnoses include craniotomies, brain tumor removals, complex spine surgeries, and other critical neuro conditions. The ability to maintain a sterile field and competency in Foley catheter insertion and central line dressing maintenance is essential. Educational training will be provided for lifts, restraints, and wound care, but proficiency in basic nursing skills is expected. The facility operates with pharmacy and respiratory therapy available 24/7. Nurses will be required to work weekends and holidays as part of the core staff rotation.
