Job Description

Educational documentation: A minimum Grade 12 or equivalent. Certificate in Culinary Arts, Baking, Patisserie or relevant field Skills, not limited to: A solid grasp of flavour profiles, baking processes, and food styling to create desserts that are well-presented and plated. Strong technical abilities to be able to work swiftly and effectively under pressure to meet strict deadlines. Knowledge of precise timing and temperatures are critically important. Great attention to detail and creativity. Organization and leadership skills. Willingness to replenish professional knowledge. Thorough knowledge of sanitation principles, food preparation and cooking techniques, and nutrition. Working knowledge of baking with ingredient limits.
