Short-Term insurance sales rep

Requirements: Live and work in Port Elizabeth; Grade 12; 5 years' marketing experience in short term insurance; RE5 and all relevant FSCA qualifications (candidate must be fit and proper as defined); Computer literate (MS Office); Bilingual - Afrikaans and English (speak, read and write); Valid driver's license (minimum code B) with own reliable transportation; Own cell phone; Must be available after office hours if required; Relevant tertiary insurance qualification will be advantageous. The Organization subscribes to and applies the principles prescribed by the Employment Equity Act. Preference will be given to candidates from the designated groups, in accordance with the principles of the aforementioned Act and the employee profile of the specific department/division. Key responsibilities: Prepare and implement relevant marketing strategies to grow the short-term insurance book, including cold calling and consultations with members; Liaison between members and short-term insurance providers to ensure members receive high quality service; Oversee insurance claims to ensure fair dealing and satisfaction of members; Follow defined administrative processes, from inception of policy through to processing of claims; Be target driven and passionate and have a client-centered focus.
