Hadoop Administrator

DXC Technology is looking for a Hadoop Administrator to join Analytics offering. Responsibilities: Install, configure and maintain Hadoop clusters/ecosystem in Linux environment to ensure high availability, optimal performance and security Deploy, manage and monitor Hadoop clusters using Cloudera Manager or Apache Ambari or Ganglia Nagios Monitor connectivity and security. Maintain HDFS and providing necessary supports Work closely with database, network and software developers to support data processing and big data applications Requirements: At least 3 years of experience in the role Strong Linux system administration skills and knowledge of HDFS, YARN, MapReduce, Hive, Pig Good troubleshooting skills, understanding of system’s capacity and bottlenecks Previous experience in Financial Services will be considered preferable Work locations: Bari with smart working possibility At DXC Technology, we believe strong connections and community are key to our success.
