Employability & Life Skills Coach

FIND are a specialist staffing business, servicing the Skills, Learning & Apprenticeship markets across the UK. We’re on the lookout for an Employability Skills Tutor to support with delivery of Employability & Life Skills ahead of release from the prison environment. Key Responsibilities: Lead and manage delivery of Life & Employability to participants looking to gain employment & skills ahead of release. Deliver high-quality classes adapting to various learning styles and needs to suit small groups of learners. Ensure inclusive teaching strategies are embedded across the team. Promote a positive learning environment that supports engagement, wellbeing, and progress. Develop and implement effective schemes of work and curriculum planning tailored to individual learner needs. Provide support of safeguarding measures. Monitor and evaluate teaching and learning standards, carrying out observations and learning walks. Track learner progress, outcomes, and achievement rates against key performance indicators (KPIs). Ensure compliance with awarding bodies, funding requirements & MOJ policies . Candidates must be comfortable with working in the Prison/ Custody Setting 5 days a week! Person Specification: Essential: Recognised teaching or assessing qualifications (e.g. A1, TAQA, CAVA, D32/33 PGCE, Cert Ed, DTLLS, PTTLS) Level 2 or above qualification in English and Maths.
