Competitive salary up to £45,000, dependent on experience Monday to Friday Early's & Late's Week 1, Mon - Thu 6am -2pm and Fri 6am -1pm Week 2, Mon - Thu 2pm -10pm and Fri 1pm -8pm 25 days holiday plus bank holidays Overtime available Regular Training and Career Development Company Pension Scheme Company Sick Pay Scheme Be part of a supportive, friendly team within a reputable and growing company Free Parking Responsibilities Multi Skilled Maintenance Engineer Mechanical service, repair, replacement of: Motors, gearboxes, couplings, seals, pumps, valves, hydraulics, pneumatics etc. Electrical service, repair, replacement of: Motors, sensors, valves, control gear, VSDs, servos, instrumentation, power distribution systems, safety systems etc. Takes care of the electrical and mechanical settings, documenting them where possible. Performs certain measurements, adjustments, tests and calibrations. Identification and selection of suitable parts and spares for the task. Evaluates the possibility or the necessity of repairing or replacing components. Works with the parts coordinator to obtain and maintain stock levels and stores accuracy. Make suggestions and propositions to improve the installations and to increase plant availability, quality and safety. Gives technical support to operators. Supports the projects department in the implementation of new equipment, plant or services. Maintain control measurement equipment and weighing equipment. Respects Company policy concerning hygiene and safety during activities. Requirements Education & Experience Recognized engineering apprenticeship or HNC/HND in Engineering Building Services Experience: Boilers, air handling plant, refrigeration Use of a CMMS Food sector background Packaging machinery Control systems Skills & Capabilities Accurate root cause analysis of breakdowns and effective corrective action carried out. Welding: Desirable not essential Reads and interprets Electrical & Mechanical schematics diagrams.
