Job Description
Our Client Our client, a leading international education group and holding company of premium institutions, is seeking a Head of Marketing. This senior leadership role serves as a strategic bridge between Marketing, Partnerships, Community Outreach, and Admissions. It is pivotal in strengthening brand visibility in Singapore and internationally, enhancing the experience for students, parents, and staff, and driving sustainable growth through integrated, data-driven campaigns. Main Responsibilities Strategy & Campaigns Lead the development and implementation of annual and long-term marketing strategies with defined objectives, KPIs, and measurable outcomes. Align campaigns with organisational priorities, balancing Singapore-based goals with international enquiry growth. Manage campaign planning with the digital team (HQ and with agencies as applicable), including digital media strategies, enquiry reviews, and reporting. Oversee cross-platform campaigns (digital, print, PR, partnerships) with clear impact metrics. Brand Building, Content & PR Ensure consistent brand storytelling across all digital and offline channels, safeguarding adherence to brand guidelines. Lead content-driven initiatives such as photoshoots, video production, blogs, vlogs, and newsletters. Develop admissions and programme materials critical to the customer journey, nurturing prospects through effective sales collateral. Drive PR activity through press releases, media features, and reputation-enhancing campaigns. Collaborate with Academic Leadership to highlight programme strengths, milestones, and unique selling points (USPs) that differentiate the organisation in a competitive landscape. Design and manage influencer marketing initiatives to expand brand reach, leveraging parent advocates, alumni, and trusted community voices to build credibility and strengthen word-of-mouth engagement. Develop and oversee a Brand Ambassador Programme, engaging parents, alumni, and students as advocates to share authentic stories, foster trust, and amplify community-led reputation building. Data, Funnel Management & Insights Provide actionable insights through data-driven initiatives to strengthen admissions strategy and optimise campaigns. Collaborate with the Admissions team to refine conversion funnels, using automation tools for enquiry tracking and funnel management. Partner with central analytics teams to interpret market intelligence and refine approaches for improved ROI and enquiry quality. Digital & Social Media Develop and oversee the monthly social media strategy and content calendar in collaboration with the Academic Team. Integrate admissions-related campaigns, events, and milestones into digital communications. Refresh website content quarterly, ensuring accuracy, alignment with campaigns, SEO best practices, and AI search optimisation. Maintain relationships with leading education and parenting portals, ensuring regular updates and visibility. Partnerships & Community Engagement Build and nurture partnerships with agents, education platforms, parenting networks, and community groups to support enrolment growth. Represent the organisation at open houses, education fairs, and community events as a key brand ambassador. Optimise the customer journey by capturing source-of-enquiry data, collecting parent feedback, monitoring competitor activity, and advising leadership on positioning. Support marketing-led events through photo/video coverage, live updates, and highlight reels for future use. Budget, Vendors & Team Oversight Own and manage the marketing budget, ensuring quarterly and annual accuracy. Negotiate and evaluate third-party contracts with clear deliverables; conduct quarterly audits of ads, campaigns, and platforms. Oversee vendor relationships and ensure delivery timelines align with organisational objectives. Provide structured leadership for the Marketing Team, including task prioritisation, workflow management, and leave approvals. Ensure Marketing, Admissions, Events, and Community Engagement teams are aligned in meeting shared KPIs. Operations & Inventory Conduct monthly stock checks of branded and promotional items (e.g., banners, flags, gifts) and ensure timely replenishment. Maintain a multimedia content bank for campaigns and long-term use. Review and improve communication templates and creative tools (e.g., newsletters, event designs, sales collateral), providing design and development support where required. Requirements Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, Business, or a related field. Minimum 8–10 years of progressive marketing experience, including at least 3–5 years in a senior leadership capacity. Proven track record in integrated marketing strategy, digital and offline campaigns, PR, and community engagement. Experience in the education sector and understanding of Singapore’s education landscape and international curricula advantageous. Strong data-driven approach, with ability to use analytics to drive campaign ROI and admissions conversion. Excellent leadership, stakeholder management, and presentation skills. Additional languages are advantageous due to the need to engage with a diverse base of parents, corporates, and community partners across jurisdictions. Flexibility to travel internationally and to attend marketing or community events outside of standard working hours when required.
