As a Maintenance Engineer Specialist, you will play a pivotal role in driving the adoption of Autonomous Maintenance (AM) methodologies across all levels of the Manufacturing Organization. Your responsibilities will include identifying critical machines using the TGPC methodology (Time to Repair, Grade of Influence, Probability of Failure, Criticality of Equipment) and developing structured plans to activate AM initiatives. You will oversee the execution of these plans at the Pomigliano Plant, ensuring alignment with organizational goals. Responsibilities Guides the control and improvement of all activities related to autonomous maintenance through the AM methodology Spreads the AM methodology to the workshop through training courses Plans and monitors the opening of self-maintenance sites with the TGPC tool Plans TAGS restoration activities Controls self-maintenance activities where changes or specific skills assigned to external companies are expected Monitors the efficiency data of the OEE machinery by analyzing in detail the residual losses and the related countermeasures machine related Monitors the maintenance costs related to the degradation restoration activities and implements the necessary corrective actions to comply with the budget Proactive approach on maintenance strategy development and improvement at Plant level Guides the control and improvement of all maintenance-related activities through the PM methodology Draws up ML preventive maintenance plans aimed at improving the life of the component by minimizing the efficient and economic losses for the maintenance of a machine Plans the machinery overhaul / retrofitting activities or deferred interventions Ensures the strategy of alternative components to the obsolete and the management of new components Optimize spare parts management and ensure year over year cost optimization Keeps maintenance costs under control and implements the necessary corrective actions to comply with the budget Qualifications / Requirements Master’s Degree in Electrical, Mechanical or related technical engineering field combined with a strong and consistent experience in Manufacturing Production Proven experience in Maintenance Production environment Knowledge of TMP, AM and PM principles Fluency in English and Italian, both written and oral Work Visa, in accordance with local regulation, is required Desired Characteristics Solid analytical, problem solving, and technical troubleshooting skills Strong interpersonal and leadership skills What we offer Avio Aero, when possible, promotes remote work and encourages a good, healthy and satisfying work-life balance.
