Jr. Social Media Strategist

About the Role

We’re hiring a full-time Jr. Social Media Strategist to join our in-house marketing team and lead the growth of our organic social media channels. 

This position is essential for driving audience growth, crafting engaging content, and strengthening RCTV’s social media presence. We’re looking for a creative storyteller who can blend strategy with execution—building our brand presence, educating audiences on the history and artistry of rare coins, and fostering a strong collector community online. 

Responsibilities

· Develop and execute an organic social media vision and strategy for multiple platforms including Instagram, YouTube, Facebook, and emerging channels.

• Build      and manage a content calendar that creates a diverse feed including a      healthy blend of creating a fun and engaging community for collectors, highlighting      rare coin offerings, amplifying promotions, and sharing educational      content about coin collecting and U.S. history.
• Collaborate      with internal teams to produce organic social specific visuals and videos 
• Community      engagement while maintaining a consistent, on-brand voice responding to      comments, messages, and mentions in a professional and approachable way.
• Track      and report on KPIs including views, follower growth, impressions, and      traffic, while using insights to refine strategy, test new formats, and      optimize posting cadence.

Qualifications

· 1-2+ years of experience in social media or digital marketing

· Fluency in major platforms (X, Instagram, Facebook, YouTube, and TikTok) with awareness of emerging trends and innovations.

· Excellent organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple projects under tight deadlines.

• Strong      storytelling and copywriting skills and experience creating or managing      video content (especially short-form and vertical video).
• Data-driven      mindset with a passion for testing and optimization.

Compensation details: 27-32 Hourly Wage
