Lead MRI Radiographer – Mobile £48,000 - £50,000 travel allowance 35 Days AL Pension PMI 37.5 hours | 3 Long days | Monday to Sunday We are proud to be exclusively working with a dynamic and innovative medical charity who deliver first class diagnostic imaging services that predominately serve the NHS throughout the Midlands and west England through their dedicated imaging centres and mobile fleet. We are in search of a Lead Radiographer to support their mobile fleet across the Herefordshire, Gloucestershire, Worcestershire, Somerset and Devon counties. Additionally, this senior role will deputise for the MRI Mobile Superintendent and will be central to the management, supervision and development of mobile scanning services, ensuring excellence in patient care, operational delivery and clinical governance. HCPC Registration BSc in Diagnostic Radiography or equivalent. Post graduate certificate in MRI is desired. UK based experience is essential. Theoretical and clinical MRI skills along with UK based experience is essential. Previous experience in a Lead role is beneficial, however we can consider a candidate looking to step into a lead role. Proven leadership and supervisory experience, ideally in a mobile or multi-site environment. We can also consider candidates looking to step up into the role, who can display previous line management experience. Knowledge of local rules, clinical governance and SOPS Flexibility to support service demands. Responsibilities Oversee the smooth day-to-day running of mobile MRI services across multiple sites. Act as deputy for the Mobile Superintendent Radiographer in their absence. Support service set-up at new mobile sites, working closely with NHS and private sector partners. Provide leadership, training, supervision and performance management of radiographers and support staff. Maintain the highest standards of safety, compliance and clinical quality, ensuring adherence to CQC, QSI requirements. Perform and supervise a wide range of MRI procedures, ensuring patients receive safe, effective and compassionate care. Contribute to audits, quality assurance and service improvements. Working Hours This is a full-time permanent position covering 37.5 hours across a 3 / 4 day working week. The service operates Monday to Sunday 08:00 – 20:00. Not for you?
