Customer ServiceCheck the dining room setup before each service.Ensure compliance with service and quality standards.Manage service flow during peak hours.Supervise cleanliness and compliance with hygiene standards.Welcome important clients or VIPs.Handle complaints with diplomacy and find quick solutions.Maintain a high level of customer satisfaction.Reports, Cash & Digital DataMonitor daily sales and cash reports.Distribute tips among team members.Inventory ManagementMonitor inventories and place orders as needed.Participate in cost tracking (food, beverages, labor).Monitor waste and suggest solutions to optimize product use.Assist/Replace the DirectorLeadership & StrategyAct as substitute for the director, ensure communication between management and teams, contribute to decision-making (menu, promotions, partnerships).HR & DevelopmentRecruitment, training/onboarding, schedule planning and adjustments, motivation and performance/conflict management, refresher workshops.Operations & QualityVerify setup, ensure service standards are met, manage peak traffic, cleanliness and hygiene, health & safety, and handle minor incidents.Internal CommunicationDraft memos, lead team meetings, track and share key information.Maintenance & PurchasingCoordinate repairs/maintenance, monitor deliveries, negotiate prices, handle delays and errors.Marketing, Partnerships & Continuous ImprovementManage social media, promotions, and events (themes, groups, weddings).Conduct competitive intelligence and suggest improvements.Gather feedback on dishes (sales/feedback).Represent the business at events and partner meetings.Employment Conditions (Project-based, Permanent Position)Full-time permanent position.French and English, spoken and written.Required Skills (including education and professional experience)36 months of experience in the restaurant industry.In-depth knowledge of wine.Knowledge of Mediterranean cuisine and its products.Experience in operational management and customer service.High school diploma (DES) or equivalent foreign credential.Applicants are invited to submit their CV to direction@patiopatio.ca.
