Senior Pattern Maker

For a prestigious group internationally recognized for excellence in luxury tailoring we are seeking a Senior Pattern Maker with proven experience in high-end tailor-made and prêt-à-porter garments. The individual will be the point of reference in the creation and development of patterns for suits, outerwear, and leisurewear, ensuring impeccable fit and alignment with the highest standards of luxury tailoring. Responsibilities: In collaboration with the style office, pattern making department, and atelier, the role will involve: Translating style sketches into manual and digital patterns. Developing and overseeing prototypes from the initial model to the final garment. Participating in fittings, identifying solutions to perfect fit and structure. Managing and updating the base block library (jackets, trousers, coats, outerwear). Using 2D CAD software (Lectra, Investronica, Gerber), and preferably 3D platforms. Collaborating with prototype lab and production teams to ensure timelines and quality standards are met. Supporting the creation of technical sheets, pattern placements, grading, and industrialization processes. Requirements: The ideal candidate will have: 7–10 years of experience as a pattern maker in men's luxury apparel. In-depth knowledge of structured, semi-structured, and unstructured suits, coats, jackets, made-to-measure trousers, and high-end leisurewear. Proficiency in 2D CAD software and knowledge of 3D (preferred). A strong tailoring sensibility, absolute precision, and attention to detail and proportions. Ability to balance creative vision with technical rigor. Soft Skills: Strong technical authority and artisanal spirit. Teamwork, reliability, and confidentiality. Proactivity and problem-solving skills. Willingness to travel frequently for business (nationally). Flexibility and curiosity. Work Location: HQ: Central Italy – Presence at the company headquarters is required, along with the availability for frequent national travel. Package: Salary commensurate with seniority.
