Pay Information $2,198 per week About The Position Job Title: Registered Nurse Profession: Nursing Specialty: Pediatric Emergency Room Duration: 13 Weeks Shift: Day and Mid Hours per Shift: 12 Hours Experience: Minimum 2 years of pediatric vascular access team experience required. License: Active registered nursing license required. Certifications: BLS certification required. Must-Have: - Experience in ultrasound-guided IV placement and vein finder usage. - Pediatric vascular access experience in settings such as HemeOnc or ICU. - Proficiency in IV placement skills for pediatric to adult populations. Description: We are seeking a registered nurse for our pediatric emergency room specializing in IV therapy. The ideal candidate must have experience in ultrasound-guided IV placement and vein finder usage. Candidates with a minimum of 2 years in a pediatric vascular access team are preferred. First-time travelers are welcome to apply, and weekend shifts are required. Experience with pediatric patients is essential, including those with difficult venous access. Nurses must be quick and efficient with IV insertion and capable of monitoring IVs. Candidates must make recommendations on the appropriate type of IVs to be used. Additionally, applicants should be familiar with hospital policies and procedures.
