DXC Technology is looking for a junior software developer to be trained and involved in our teams. You will receive specific training from day one on full stack technology, web programming, Spring framework, database, and the opportunity to obtain a specific certification Scrum Foundation. After a short training period you will be involved in our applications and web development projects. Responsibilities Designs, develops, and executes unit tests to implement portions of new or enhanced (upgrades or conversions) business and technical software solutions. Interacts with project roles as required to gain an understanding of the business environment, technical context, and organizational strategic direction. Understands and uses appropriate tools to analyze, identify, and resolve business and/or technical problems. Stays current on emerging tools, techniques, and technologies. Develops applications using Java EE, Spring Framework, single page application frameworks, microservices; applies Docker, design patterns and architecture concepts; works with SQL and NoSQL databases; and follows software development processes (Agile, Waterfall, DevOps). Education And Skills Recently graduated in a technical field. Interested in web-development tools for new applications. Basic understanding of modern software design and development methodologies. Nice to have: experience and knowledge of Digital Development Services, Agile application development, DevOps, cloud-based applications, and microservices architecture and patterns. The ideal profile has strong analytics skills, problem solving, focus on results, decision making skills, and the ability to work in teams. Work Location Rome with remote work possibility.
