HGV Technician Monday to Friday (8am4pm) Birmingham Airport £39,000 rising to £43,000 once airside cleared We are seeking an experienced HGV Technician to join our day-shift team. This role offers a stable MondayFriday schedule, excellent earning potential, and opportunities to progress within a busy airport environment. What Youll Be Doing: Servicing, maintaining, and repairing airport vehicles MOT preparation, hydraulic maintenance & electrical fault finding Working on a wide range of trucks, including Mercedes, Volvo, Scania and more Supporting our East Midlands site when required (company vehicle provided) Call Out Details: On-call 1 week in 9 (moving to 1 in 12 once fully staffed) Paid £80 per call out Call out runs Monday 4pm → following Monday 8am What Were Looking For: Minimum 5 years HGV experience Apprenticeship-trained (preferred but not essential) Strong knowledge of hydraulics, electrics, and diagnostics HGV licence not required for this day-shift role Whats On Offer: Starting salary £39,000 → rising to £43,000 after airside clearance MondayFriday, 8am4pm working hours On-call allowance overtime opportunities Company vehicle for inter-site travel Training and career progression opportunities If this job is of interest to you, please contact Jodie Hodgson at Birmingham Pertemps Hagley Road.
