Maintenance Engineer

Electrical/Automation Engineer Location: Commutable from Bishop's Stortford, Epping, Sawbridgeworth, Stansted, and surrounding areas Salary: £38,000-£45,000 OTE Hours: Monday to Friday, 8:00-16:00 or 9:00-17:00 Sector: FMCG (Permanent) Our client is seeking a skilled Electrical/Automation Engineer to join their maintenance team. This is a hands-on role, integrating electrical and mechanical systems, maintaining machinery, and supporting production in a collaborative environment. Key Responsibilities: ·Troubleshoot and diagnose issues on electrical, mechanical, and automation systems. ·Work with PLCs, including Siemens S7 and Allen Bradley control logic. ·Integrate and maintain PCs and automated systems. ·Conduct routine maintenance, inspections, and repairs on machinery and equipment. ·Respond to callouts as part of a rotational system managed by the team. ·Ensure compliance with UK wiring regulations (17th or 18th Edition). Requirements: ·Strong knowledge of electrical and mechanical systems. ·Experience with PLCs such as Siemens S7 and Allen Bradley. ·Hold 17th or 18th Edition certification. ·Completed an apprenticeship or have equivalent post-college experience. ·Previous experience in an FMCG or automated manufacturing environment is advantageous.
