Job Title: E-Commerce Manager (Full-Time, Hybrid/Remote role) Location: Thame, UK Contract: Initial 6-month contract with the potential to transition to a permanent position Company Overview: Critical Power Supplies (CPS) is a leading provider of backup power solutions in the UK. We offer an extensive range of products and services to support critical power systems, ensuring power continuity and performance. As part of our ongoing growth, we are seeking an experienced E-Commerce Manager to take our online presence to the next level. Role Overview: We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced E-Commerce Manager to help drive our digital strategy, manage our e-commerce platform, and enhance our online customer experience. This role will involve overseeing the day-to-day management of our e-commerce site, executing digital marketing campaigns, and leveraging data-driven insights to boost online sales. The initial contract is for six months, with the potential to transition to a permanent position. Key Responsibilities: Manage the day-to-day operations of our e-commerce platform, ensuring a seamless, user-friendly experience. Develop and execute e-commerce strategies to drive revenue growth and enhance customer engagement. Oversee the e-commerce element of the website using WordPress, WooCommerce and Zoho, ensuring accurate and up-to-date product information and optimisation for SEO. Analyse website performance and implement improvements based on data insights, including conversion rate optimisation, user behaviour analysis, and A/B testing. Collaborate with the marketing team to: o execute targeted digital marketing campaigns, including email marketing, PPC, SEO, and social media o optimise content and design Maintain an in-depth understanding of backup power solutions and power management to represent our products and communicate value to customers effectively. Monitor and report on e-commerce performance metrics, such as sales, conversion rates, customer acquisition costs, and return on investment. Ensure compliance with industry standards and best practices in data privacy, online security, and accessibility. Candidate Profile: The ideal candidate will have: Experience in Power Management: Demonstrable experience in backup power solutions, power management, or a related industry, with an understanding of the technical needs and challenges of our target customers. E-Commerce Expertise: Proven track record in managing e-commerce platforms, preferably with experience in WordPress, WooCommerce and associated plugins. Analytical Skills: Strong analytical skills with experience using analytics tools (e.g., Google Analytics) to optimise user journeys, track performance metrics, and inform strategy. Digital Marketing Acumen: Familiarity with e-commerce marketing strategies, including SEO, SEM, PPC, social media marketing, and email marketing. Project Management Skills: Strong organisational and project management skills with the ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines simultaneously. Attention to Detail: High level of accuracy in data entry, content management, and reporting. Customer-Centric Approach: A proactive attitude toward improving the customer experience and driving customer satisfaction. Preferred Qualifications/Skills Bachelors degree in Business, Marketing, Information Technology, or a related field. Experience in a technical field, particularly in energy or power solutions. Certification in digital marketing or e-commerce (e.g., Google Analytics, SEO certifications). Proven basic coding skills to customise the site and improve functionality. Proven CRM experience eg HubSpot/Zoho.
