Computer Aided Design Technician

Role- CAD Technician Salary- £30,000- £35,000 per annum plus benefits (Dependent on experience) Type- Permanent Location- Stafford My client design and manufactures a range of bespoke commercial rooms for a variety of clients. They are looking to take on a CAD Technician, on a permanent basis, in Stafford. The CAD Engineer / Mechanical Design Engineer will ideally have the following attributes: Be Degree/ HND/ HNC qualified in Mechanical Engineering or a similar Engineering subject Graduate level will be considered as well as those with 2-5 years’ or more of industry experience working in a CAD / design role Good attention to detail Knowledge of CAD software – Inventor or Revit Experience with Joinery, or any form of woodwork is desirable, but not a necessity Proficient with using Microsoft Office programmes Excellent communication skills Ability to work well alone as well as part of a team Flexibility to travel as required as a large part of the role to customer sites, both in the UK and abroad Someone who is keen to progress and develop with a company long term The CAD Engineer / Mechanical Design Engineer role will involve: Working as part of the Drawing Office Supporting both the Projects and Process Engineering teams Working to produce drawings using Inventor CAD software Creating layouts and detailed drawings in line with standards Keeping on top of project schedules Checking and reviewing drawings If you are interested in this position, please apply with an up to date CV as soon as possible, along with your availability and your salary expectation.
