Humanities Academic Mentor Humanities Support Role Location: Greenwich, South East London Contract: September 2025 July 2026 (Term-Time Only) Are you a Humanities graduate looking to gain experience in education? A well-regarded secondary school in Greenwich is seeking a Humanities Academic Mentor to support students across the Humanities department, including History, Geography, and Social Studies. As a Humanities Academic Mentor, youll work with pupils in KS3 to KS5, providing classroom assistance, subject-specific intervention, and academic mentoring. Youll also support learners with SEN, helping to remove barriers to learning and promote engagement in Humanities subjects. Key responsibilities: Providing in-class support in Humanities lessons, including History, Geography, and Social Studies Running 1:1 and group interventions for underachieving students Assisting with lesson resources, planning, and marking Supporting students with SEND or EAL backgrounds This role is ideal for aspiring Humanities teachers or those interested in supporting students in academic development.
