Position: Practice Manager Location: St Kilda, Melbourne, Victoria Employment Type: Full time role with scope for this to commence with half time or greater depending on the candidate and the ability to service the needs of the business. Key Responsibilities: Leading and supporting the admin and reception team Overseeing HR processes including recruitment, onboarding, and performance management Managing payroll, accounts, and reporting (Xero experience required) Monitoring financial performance and budgets Ensuring compliance with FairWork, OH&S, and other regulatory requirements Overseeing IT systems, marketing initiatives, and facilities management Driving continuous improvement and supporting the business strategy Personal Attributes: Warm, welcoming, and professional manner Team-focused and adaptable to a dynamic clinical environment Strong problem-solving abilities and initiative Compassionate and patient-oriented approach What We Offer: Involvement in a multidisciplinary team delivering high-quality care Opportunities for skill development and growth To be considered, you must have: Minimum 2 years’ experience in a management role within a medical, allied health, or healthcare environment Proven leadership and people management skills, with responsibility for staff performance and development Strong working knowledge of Xero Demonstrated ability to manage payroll and accounts accurately and on time Experience with HR processes, including recruitment, onboarding, performance management, and compliance Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with staff, patients, and external stakeholders Highly developed organisational skills and the ability to manage multiple priorities Strong problem-solving and decision-making ability in a fast-paced environment Intermediate to advanced Microsoft 365 skills (Word, Excel, Outlook, Teams) Strong attention to detail, confidentiality, and integrity in handling sensitive information Highly Regarded (but not essential): Previous experience with Cliniko or other practice management software Qualifications in business, HR, or health administration Experience managing marketing or digital systems (social media, Google reviews, SEO) To Apply: Please email your resume and a brief cover letter outlining your experience and availability to mppfg.com.au.
