Our service is a child safe organisation and we strongly uphold our child safety policies and procedures. Our experienced teaching team provide a warm, creative and stimulating environment for children. With a play orientated approach that is designed to challenge and appeal to the individual abilities and interests of each child, we encourage children to be active participants in their learning. At our preschool we include animals within our Program, as well as other opportunities such as the Stephanie Alexander Program, and The Resilience Project. Since 1986, Diamond Hills Preschool has worked with local children and families in the Diamond Valley and Nillumbik area and is rated as Exceeding the National Quality Standards. Work Days of the Role Monday/Tuesday/Thursday OR Tuesday/Wednesday/Friday *please note there will be planning time scheduled TBC* Hours of Work of the Role 19.75 Description We are seeking an enthusiastic and experienced Educator who is passionate about early childhood education and learning through play. We currently have two vacancies for commencement in the 2026 school year, and the successful applicants will work with either a 4 Year Old group or 3 Year Old in our brand new kinder building! The successful applicant will: Have the ability to support the continued implementation of a stimulating and positive learning environment to encourage and support children's development. Be committed to providing high quality care and education to all children in a safe, nurturing, play based learning environment. Have the ability to contribute to the planning cycle, observe and document children's learning with reference to the Early Years Learning Framework. Show initiative and manage time effectively. Form and maintain warm, caring and respectful relationships with children, families and staff. Be able to ensure confidentiality of information and adhere to Diamond Hills Preschool’s Code of Conduct and the Child Safe Standards.
