Hakka-Speaking Volunteer Visitor

Do you speak Hakka? Your time and friendship could mean the world to an older person. We are looking for friendly volunteers to visit people living in a local aged care home (Originally from Timor-Leste). Visits might involve sharing stories, enjoying a cuppa, listening to music, playing a board game, or simply having a chat. No experience is needed - just warmth, reliability, and a willingness to commit to weekly visits (Youll have a chance to opt out during onboarding if its not the right fit). MS Plus believes in a person-to-person approach and aspire to match you with someone local with shared interests and hobbies. *The Aged Care Volunteer Visitors Scheme (ACVVS) is funded by the Australian Government and delivered by MS Plus.
