Industrial Electrician

Industrial Electrician Full time, permanent basis Canning Vale Position Overview The Industrial Electrician – A Grade Licensed is responsible for designing, installing, testing, and certifying electrical installations for our clients Canning Vale facilities. The role is also responsible for establishing electrical safety for the site and equipment at the site on an ongoing basis. Tasks & Responsibilities Executing electrical infrastructure upgrades including cable tray and cabling works. The execution and mandatory testing of electrical wiring to ensure well-functioning power, lighting, machinery, and other electrical systems in accordance with Electricity Safety (Installations) Regulations and Standards. Inspection of electrical systems, equipment, and components to identify hazards, defects, and the need for adjustment or repair, and to ensure compliance with codes. Reading and interpreting electrical and mechanical diagrams, drawings and specifications and effecting any changes. Liaising with Electrical Nominee to ensure works are compliant. Effective and proactive communication to ensure stakeholders are informed of service progress and milestone delivery. Complete training courses as required for this role. People Supervising and training electrical apprentices as required.
