We’re looking for a dynamic Category Manager to join our high-performing team and lead the development, execution, and optimisation of our rotating electrical product category. This is a unique opportunity to join our specialist Auto Electrical Group at a pivotal moment — as we rebrand and strengthen our position in the marketplace. You’ll work cross-functionally with pricing, inventory, marketing, and ecommerce teams to deliver commercial outcomes, streamline inventory, and enhance customer value. Key Responsibilities Lead monthly category reviews, including performance analysis, supplier updates, and inventory health. Drive pricing strategies, promotional planning, and margin improvement initiatives. Manage supplier relationships, including trading terms, new product introductions, and contract negotiations. Collaborate on range reviews, consolidations, and new product development. Provide insights and recommendations to support business growth and operational efficiency. Contribute to cross-functional projects including ecommerce, marketing campaigns, and training. What You’ll Bring Proven experience in category or product management (automotive or industrial preferred). Suitable Tertiary Qualification would be advantageous. Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret data and drive decisions. Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills. Experience with ERP systems (e.g., Pronto, Oscar) and inventory classification frameworks (e.g., ABC), as well as proficiency in Microsoft applications (Excel, Word, PowerPoint) A proactive, solutions-focused mindset with a passion for continuous improvement.
