Advance Medical Imaging Excellence with Metro South! Join Princess Alexandra Hospital’s Diagnostic Radiology department for a part-time 12-month contract. Deliver high-quality imaging services, mentor and train future radiographers, and play a key role in advancing clinical education in a world-class healthcare setting! About your role In this role, you'll balance clinical expertise with leadership and education, playing a key role in patient care and the development of future radiographers. You'll be responsible for: Delivering advanced, evidence-based imaging services across specialist areas. Providing leadership, supervision, and training for undergraduates, recent graduates, and junior radiographers. Acting as a clinical reference point and contributing to collaborative, interprofessional care. Shaping clinical education programs and leading quality improvement projects. Mentoring staff, supporting placements, and advancing service standards. About you You're a skilled radiographer with a passion for both clinical excellence and teaching, and you're ready to take the next step in your career. To succeed in this role, you'll bring: A recognised qualification in Medical Imaging and current AHPRA registration. Strong background in complex medical imaging services. Proven leadership and mentoring experience. Excellent teamwork, communication, and interpersonal skills. Commitment to continuous professional development and service improvement. A genuine interest in coaching, teaching, and advancing clinical education. Princess Alexandra Hospital: The Princess Alexandra Hospital (PAH) is a tertiary health care centre providing care in most major adult specialties. We provide world class health care to Brisbane City's southern suburbs across emergency, medical, mental health and surgical services, including liver and kidney transplant. We are nationally recognised for our expertise in trauma management and organ transplants and are one of Australia's leading academic and research health centres. The PAH as a major medical research precinct hosts Australia's most advanced medical research facility, the Translational Research Institute (TRI) as well as a new Clinical Research Facility for the discoveries made at TRI to be trialed in a safe clinical environment. We're expanding our hospital to make sure everyone gets the care they need.
