About the Project: The Scotia Project is located in Norseman in the Eastern Goldfields of Western Australia, approximately 725km east of Perth, 200 km south of Kalgoorlie, and 200 km north of Esperance. Redpath have commenced a 3-year development contract with great camp facilities based in the main street of Norseman approximately 25 minutes from site. About the Role: Accurately drill a number of drive drill patterns using a mechanised electric/Hydraulic Jumbo drill suitable to ground conditions and in compliance with site specific drill patterns and survey instruction. Assess ground conditions at the face and implement ground control according to site requirements. Read and accurately follow mining instruction plan with skill and precision ensuring holes are drilled to design line, gradient and profile. Communicate with technical services team as required. Optimise drill patterns to ensure maximum advance per round is achieved whilst maintaining strict adherence to design specifications. Ensure work area is safe for personnel and equipment to perform working duties including ensuring electrical installations and services are clear of the drilling area. Candidate Requirements: Previous experience working as a frontline Jumbo Operator Extensive experience working in underground mining All valid and relevant qualifications, certificate and licences Valid manual drivers licence A work ethic and attitude in keeping with Redpath's motto Consider it done — safely. The Opportunity: Working a 2 week on, 2 week off roster rotating day and night shift. FIFO: available from Perth, DIDO if desired from Esperance, Kalgoorlie and other inland locations. Camp: Public camp facilities based in Norseman, with access to a gym, dry mess and wet mess along with other town-based facilities. Camp is approximately a 20–25-minute bus ride into/out of site.
