Find out more about our school by visiting kiaracollege.wa.edu.au or Schools Online The Role We are seeking two dedicated and dynamic Program Coordinators-Student Services to join our Student Services team to play a pivotal role in fostering a positive and inclusive school environment. Each Program Coordinator will be responsible for two groups supporting student wellbeing and promoting positive behaviour across the school. Some of the key responsibilities of a Program Coordinator - Student Services are to: Ensure consistent implementation of our Behaviour Management Policy. Work collaboratively with teaching staff to engage students in making positive behaviour choices. Champion and promote our Positive Behaviours Framework, helping to embed it into the daily life of the school. Build strong, respectful relationships with students, supporting their social and emotional development. Oversee and lead management of students with identified special needs and work in conjunction with the relevant staff to ensure appropriate support is put into place (such as the establishment, monitoring and review of IEPs, RMPs, IBMPs). Oversee and monitor student attendance and take appropriate action to improve student attendance, including referral to other agencies and regional office personnel. Communicate effectively with students, staff, and families providing increased student engagement, pathways and wellbeing. The successful applicant will ideally have excellent communication skills and a genuine ability to connect with young people. These roles require ability to lead with empathy, consistency, and a proactive mindset.
