MAJOR TASKS TO ACHIEVE OBJECTIVE/S ABOVE RECRUITMENT AND SELECTION Establish success factors, Job Fit: the skills, knowledge and abilities required to do a job. Sourcing of credible good talent Screening and vetting of Qualifications, Identity Document and Drivers license, work reference experience are carried out in each recruitment process. Regret letters are prepared and served to unsuccessful candidates. Prepare letters of appointments and ensure that all necessary documentations is attached, completed and submitted to the Payroll Department for uploading and processing. Review and update the induction program. IR AND LABOUR RELATIONS Enhance employee and line management interface and relationships through consistent and fair management and application of all labour relations legislation, processes and issues whilst ensuring appropriate structures, polices and processes are in place and utilized. Assist will all grievance matters Monitor, improve and maintain Employee Relationships across the business. Review and monitor all disciplinary actions taken and ensure proper procedure is adhered to by all line managers and departmental heads TALENT MANAGEMENT Secure timely succession in management and specialist positions through employee risk management, planning, targeting, deployment and integration. Identify key talent within the respective business line, in consultation with the line managers and the Head of HR - input into talent pool list development and review TRAINING AND DEVELOPMENT Facilitate and presentation of all internal training workshop for the inland region. Act as a member of the training committee for the respective business lines, providing advice and input into the annual training plans. Participate in the recruitment and placement of all interns, Coordinated the recruitment and placement of Sales and Production trainees for the inland regions in conjunction with the Training Manager Carry out quarterly assessments of all trainees in the inland region and provide feedback to the Training Manager and or Head office. Facilitate the bursary scheme in conjunction with the Training Manager Provide Factory/ Centre support to the respective business lines, meeting with managers as and when required and agreed - visit Factories and Centre at least once a month. Ensure the effective management of diversity among personnel at factories and centres Identify staff training and development needs and implement necessary actions. Provide career development for direct reports (counselling, coaching, identifying key performance areas, career planning, and goal setting) Set up appropriate structure to meet departmental management objectives Provide an advisory function on governance and best practices in client experience EMPLOYMENT EQUITY REQUIREMEN/ BEE Act as a member of the training committee for the respective business lines, providing advice and input into the annual training plans. Support and drive the delivery of the companys transformation agenda in relation to all aspects BBBEE and EE. Coordinate all inland Employment Equity activities and submit to Head Office. ORGANIZATIONAL DEVELOPMENT Help organization to deliver sustainable performance improvement through people Planned interventions in the organizations processes, using best behavioural practices and knowledge. Enhance organizational performance and individual development, by increasing alignment among the various systems within the overall business, including but not limited to performance management, training and development and coaching and mentoring. GENERAL ADMINISTRATION AND BENEFITS Ensure all HR administrative processes are in line with company's policies and are in place, maintained and adhered to. Manage the on-boarding process for employees and complete a new starter checklist before forwarding documents to the Payroll Administrator. Medical aid submission are done correctly and timeously Pension and Provident fund application and termination Death, Funeral and disability Ensure that Exit interviews are completed for all exiting employees and submit a report to the HR head. Ensure accurate management and timeous submission of monthly payroll input to Payroll. Support Managers with accurate administration of leave in line with company's leave policy. Preparation, issuing and maintenance of all contracts of employment, certificate of service, promotion and transfer letter. Maintain organograms within client base. Collate/administer all leave applications in the area of service and confirm leave balances before submitting documentation to the HR Administrator. EMPLOYEE EXITS / TERMINATIONS Ensure that all paperwork for employee terminations is completed and submitted to payroll in a timely manner (PD3 form and letters etc.) AUTHORITY Signing power and limits of authority are as per Employment Grade which are defined under the relevant section of the Companys Policy and Procedure Manual and or authorized by senior management. OTHER ASSIGNMENTS Represent the interests of the Company on committees, trusts and/or associations as directed by senior management. Special duties may be assigned at the discretion of the Senior Management from time to time. Education and Qualifications: Matric - plus related tertiary qualification (Humanities and Industrial Psychology e.g. Diploma/Degree) Drivers license Ms office Should be familiar and or knowledge of Payroll system/s. Experience and Training: Extensive human resources experience exposure. 5-8 years Management experience in the Human Resources Environment. Excellent presentation skills, Analytical thinking, Conceptual thinking
