Role Summary: We have an exciting opportunity for an individual to join Nidec Drives as a Servo Motor Product Support & Application Engineer. The Servo Motor Product Support & Application Engineer will oversee both strategic and hands-on aspects of our Control Techniques Dynamics portfolio, ensuring all commercial opportunities are supported technically, commercially, and customer-wise. This role involves supporting segment and regional drive centres on commercial products and support management, providing crucial day-to-day support to enhance customer acquisition, retention, and experience. It acts as a bridge between product management, engineering, and regional drive centres to deliver application expertise, resolve challenges, and promote product adoption. Key responsibilities include but are not limited to: Commercial product support management Quotation and proposal management Segment/regional support bid coordination Margin and profitability analysis Order management and fulfilment Forecasting and pipeline support Product and application engineering support Commercial enablement and training Product lifecycle and feedback integration Cross-functional collaboration Performance monitoring and continuous improvement Customer advocacy and relationship building Travel Requirements: A minimum of 25% travel, potentially increasing as required, including overnight stays and out-of-hours meetings.
