The SPOCT team as part of the Catalyst Engine System organization is responsible for the Engineering System integration of engine Performance Operability Control & Transient disciplines. The Catalyst Engine System Integration Engineer will support the coordination of the abovementioned disciplines and teams across the development validation certification and production phase of the Catalyst Turboprop Engine to fulfill program objectives balancing the business and the technical needs with the goal of providing a quality product which meets the customer and certification requirements. Essential Responsibilities Support SPOCT disciplines through engine testing execution Manage System and SPOCT requirements to comply with regulation and customer specification verify proper flow-down and validation Contribute to certification execution supporting Certification rig and engine testing ensuring SPOCT requirements are satisfied Support engine production readiness and field support within SPOCT domain Support and coordinate multi-disciplinary teams to meet assigned project goals Perform risk assessment and risk trades to support system decisions considering technical and business impacts being cognizant of engine technical risks and mitigations processes Participate and / or present to technical and program reviews monitor and report to leadership activity progress Qualifications / Requirements Bachelors degree in Engineering from an accredited university or college Experience in Product Development of complex products / systems (e.g. Performance or Operability or Control or Thermal system or aerodynamic disciplines) Fluent in English Italian knowledge is a plus Work Visa in accordance with local regulation is required Desired Characteristics Masters degree in mechanical or Aeronautical Engineering related to heat transfer fluid mechanics propulsion or turbomachinery aerodynamics from an accredited college or university Prior experience with Requirements management and related tools Prior experience with New Product Development (NPI) process Prior experience on technical leadership and / or program management skills Previous experience on FAA and / or EASA certification process Teamwork and strong global cooperation skills Strong customer mindset Strong oral and written communication skills What we offer Smart working and work life-balance Avio Aero when possible promotes remote work and encourages a good healthy and satisfying work-life balance.
