Account Manager (Metalworking fluids) - North & West Italy

Position: Account Manager This role is based in North-West Italy, covering all of Quaker Houghton's product, equipment, and service offerings. You will focus on nurturing relationships with existing customers, mainly in the metalworking fluids market, and on driving cross-selling and customer satisfaction initiatives. What we offer: Competitive pay bonus Company car Meal tickets health insurance Two paid volunteering days annually Career growth opportunities in commercial or related areas QH University: Online training platform Wellbeing, Mental Health, Women Inclusion & DEI programs Responsibilities: Develop business in North and West Italy to meet sales and gross margin targets Visit customer sites regularly to build relationships Create presentations, proposals, and commercial offers to demonstrate value Provide technical advice in collaboration with the Product Application team Coordinate with KAM, Customer Service, and Technical Service teams Report sales activities and forecasts using CRM and IT tools Participate in industry conferences and trade shows Monitor competitors, industry trends, and regulations Candidate Profile: 1-3 years of technical sales experience in B2B environments, preferably in metalworking or automotive sectors Experience with end-user and distributor accounts is a plus Engineering degree (mechanical, chemical, industrial, or similar) Fluent in Italian and English Experience with industrial chemicals like metalworking fluids, lubricants, or coolants Strong communication, presentation, and relationship-building skills Location: Field-based in West and North Italy Soft skills: Safety-conscious, team-oriented, autonomous, results-driven, analytical, customer-focused About Us: We are a global leader in industrial process fluids, operating in over 40 countries with 100 locations.
