Labellers Automation Engineer

Overview Labellers Automation Engineer role at Sidel in Mantova. Join to work on automation activities within a dynamic engineering team. You will contribute to the development and modification of automation software on Sidel’s labellers and out-of-portfolio fillers. You’ll be part of the Service Engineering Department, supporting software implementation from development to field testing and customer assistance. Responsibilities Manage the development of service automation software (standard and safety) from initial development through field testing and customer support Manage and develop software modifications (standard and safety) to improve installed machines, including field testing and customer support Maintain and manage software inventory Ensure compliance with internal guidelines and rules in software development Work closely with the hardware and PLC/HMI teams Produce all technical documentation related to the software, including working descriptions of developed upgrades Demonstrate a solid understanding of PLC/HMI design Qualifications Graduate, Bachelor, or Master’s Degree (or equivalent) Proficient in MS Office and Outlook SAP knowledge Good written and spoken English Knowledge of Sidel Labellers (Standalone and Super Combi) Experience with project management and customer service Ability to manage and satisfy customer requests Strong commitment to deadlines and problem-solving Positive attitude, team spirit, and strong interpersonal skills Rigor, integrity, autonomy, and organizational skills Desire to learn Availability to travel Additional information Seniority level: Mid-Senior level Employment type: Full-time Industry: Machinery Manufacturing J-18808-Ljbffr
