Role You will be a Technical Support Specialist who will be remote-based in Italy or in Germany . Reporting to the Technical Support Manager, you will provide second-level support by resolving customer problems and issues through technical expertise and troubleshooting on Automation Platforms . You will drive service targets while ensuring customer satisfaction and retention. You will apply critical thinking to rapidly repair instrumentation, train customers and Service Engineers, support the Applications Team, and verify operational performance and data quality of systems to support the commercial organization. You will operate independently in Italian/Germany territory and in Europe when needed (overnight as required) to provide excellent customer service while installing and maintaining automation instrumentation and systems in hospital and standalone laboratory environments. The team uses standard methodologies and mentors/receives seasoned support. Responsibilities Provide second-level technical support for automation platforms. Repair instrumentation and troubleshoot customer issues. Train customers and Service Engineers; support the Applications Team. Verify operational performance and data quality of systems. Install and maintain automation instrumentation in hospital and laboratory settings. Travel within Italy/Germany and other European countries as needed, including overnight travel. Collaborate with the team to share best practices and standard methodologies. Qualifications Biomedical engineer or equivalent. At least 5 years of Technical Support/Field Service experience in Diagnostics. Early careers welcome with troubleshooting experience from thesis or internships. Proficient English, both spoken and written. Ability to travel extensively within the country and to other European countries; valid driver's license. Nice to have Willing to work different shifts/flexible hours as business needs. Analytical mindset; able to analyze data, identify problems, and implement effective solutions.
