Java Software Engineer

You’ll be part of a dynamic team working with Spring Boot and REST APIs , contributing to scalable platforms and best practices in API design and documentation. What you’ll do: Build and maintain backend services with Java 8 (streams, lambdas, collections) Work with Spring Boot (springboot-starter-web) to design and consume REST APIs Use Maven as the primary build tool (no Gradle) Manage version control with GIT Document APIs with Swagger / OpenAPI Collaborate in Agile teams, applying clean code and good design practices What we’re looking for: 2–5 years of backend development experience Strong hands-on experience with Java 8 Proficiency with Maven Knowledge and experience with Spring Boot Experience building and consuming REST APIs (HTTP verbs, status codes, versioning) Practical experience with Swagger / OpenAPI Nice to have: Spring Boot Security, JWT Location: Hybrid – Madrid, Sanchinarro What we offer: Permanent contract through Qaracter ️ Ticket restaurant Flexible pay: ticket transport and kindergarten Discounts on private health insurance Coursera subscription ㊗️ Co-paid language courses Human-first approach to consultancy Real growth & learning opportunities Interested?
