Security Shift Operations Manager

Job Description

Support the Operations Team in achieving daily task and operational targets; Manage, supervise and discipline Security Officers on site; Conduct training on Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and job description for security personnel; Attend and actively participate in client security operations meeting; Prepare and submit weekly/monthly incident and operational reports; Conduct site risk assessments and enforce compliance; Ensure effective day-to-day management of security operations; Manage the on-site disciplinary process in line with the company policy; Promote and enforce Health & Safety compliance; Oversee contractors entering the client environment , ensuring compliance with site -specific requirement; Manage risk associated with contractor activities; Ensure accurate and timely incident reporting; Conduct regular security sweeps to enforce compliance and address vulnerabilities; Maintain strong client interaction, providing feedback and ensure client satisfaction; Present a diligent, professional, and neat appearance at all times   Preferred qualifications/attributes/skills:    Grade 12 Certificate; PSIRA Registered with a Grade A certificate; Minimum of 5 years experience in the Security Industry, preferably with an ex- Security Forces; Clean disciplinary, criminal and credit record; Ability to work extended and irregular hours; Sound Communication Skill (Verbal and Written); Bilingual (English and any other South African language); Competency in Skills Levels 1-3; Prior experience in the Motor Manufacturing Industry will be advantageous; Computer literate (MS Office); Medically fit with the ability to obtain a medical fitness certificate;
